Womens Health Coach
Katie has 15 years experience as a Sports Therapist, over 25 years in the Health & Fitness industry, and is an accredited Women’s Health Specialist, supporting women holistically through peri- to post menopause. She has worked with and taught 100’s of individuals, providing them with lasting solutions for their physical needs, ranging from musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, core rehabilitation; strength & fitness goals; weight loss, and freedom of movement restoration.
As a Sports Therapist Katie uses functional movement analysis and exercise prescription, combined with a variety of Sports Therapy treatment modalities; including Myofascial Release, Dry Needling & Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques & Joint Mobilisations; to create targeted and restorative treatments that are as unique as the individual.
Katie has specialised in recent years in women's health, and in particular, understanding the system changes that occur during the peri-to post menopause transition. Using a biopsychosocial approach alongside movement, breath work and hands on therapy, Katie is able to help women understand nervous system awareness, resilience and regulation, bringing a sense of calm control and empowerment to their journey.
Through 1:1 sessions, or her 40-FY group exercise classes, Katie will coach and guide you to a more centred and grounded place, while
increasing your energy levels, improving your muscle and bone strength, increasing your freedom of movement and reducing stress.
