Sakshi graduated with a first-class honours degree in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Delhi University, India in 2017. Following this, she worked as an intern in Denmark with one of the leading physiotherapy networks FysioDanmark. Here she worked at private and community-based clinics to understand their clinical framework and provided court-side assistance to a handball team.
She marked the beginning of her career in New Delhi where most of her clinical work experience was with professional and recreational athletes from different sporting backgrounds. She extensively worked with ACL injuries treated conservatively and surgically and documented their phase-wise recovery using a guided rehabilitation protocol. Driven by her passion for managing musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries and promoting injury prevention, she moved to the UK to refine her knowledge in the field. She became a Cardiff University alumna in 2023 with a master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy. During her time at university, she started working at a private clinic in Bath where she has enjoyed working with rugby players, theatre actors, dancers and people with lifestyle-related injuries.
In 2019, she became a certified dry-needling practitioner and incorporates it along with other forms of manual and exercise therapy. She became a certified medical professional to work on the pitch side after completing a Sports Trauma Management course with LUBAS Medical.
Since she believes fitness is an important aspect of life, she loves her strength training sessions and running along the beautiful Bristol harbourside.
Sakshi will be based in our Ashton clinic on Saturdays.
